This driver does not work in a Compaq Presario 4704 with Win 98SE you bring up the volume control all the way up and watch go all the way down all by itself. It is easy to install open it and follow instructions at the bottom. 1. Page down 2. Type in Agree3. Hit TAB Type c 4. After it downloads you will find the the setup on your C Drive and just open it and pray it works.

Very good had major problem on install of windows 2000 prof into older DELL GX240 minitower the ATI Rage 128 Pro Ultra AGP card refused to pick up correct drivers dropped to default 'unknown' VGA driver max 600x800 16 colour. This driver installed easily and fixed immediately.

My son and I have been trawling the net for days. We are going to try this on Windows ME. If this works you should get a job at Compaq and replat the techs. there as they have failed of 4 counts so far.
