Great stuff Thanks Jerry I'd obtained a board second hand and all I knew was it had Model CT4810 stamped on it with CT5880 DCQ on the chip.When I loaded this I got stuck at 18 as well. I then tried it by adding thru control panel renstalling the device driver and pointing at the only .inf that comes in the zip. This worked to a point whereupon it required EAPCI2M.ECW which was not there. I downloaded it into the directory that I'd unzipped into getting it via this link ftp.europe.creative.compubcreativedriverssbpciensoniqwavesetsEapci2m.ecwYou will also need EAPCI4M.ECW EAPCI8M.ECW . They are 2 4 8 Mb in size hence the names I suppose.The installation then finished and all was wellIf you get these ECW files before using the supplied set up perhaps that will not stick at 18.

This driver doesn't appear to work but it may be a hardware problem. I have an old Asound Express PCI sound card Model LR032204873 and can't seem to find a driver that works for it anywhere.
