This is bare bones driver nothing extra just get the card to work...There are other downloads even the full CD. You will not find anything at Creative Labs website. Search quotWindows Driver SoundBlaster Live 24bitquot on google to find other drivers distro.

Was so pleased to find this driver and in a matter of minutes. Why does Compaq hide all of this info on their stupid restore disks You can spend days searching for such a simple thing. Thanks for all the help.

Will this driver work with a Compaq Presario 5000 5BW160 If not do you have one that will work for the sound card in this system. I know that it is an Allegro but I am not sure about the chip number.Thanks for your help.
