Tested and working fine with an Intel Ambient MD5628D Internal Cheap 'Mentor' Generic Style Modem which had the Intel Chip MD5628D onboard. Worked Great with Windows XP SP2 see no reason why it should not work with older XP Versions neither should be fine. This driver was newer than the one supplied with the modem on CD. Also seemed to cue the strange connection speeds of less than 56k was now seeing good speeds 4048kbps when connecting. Overall seemed better peformance.
